PetroSearch Announces Successful Upper Wilcox Gas Test In Colorado County, Texas

HOUSTON, December 12, 2004 – PetroSearch Corporation (OTC:PSCP) announced that its wholly owned operating subsidiary, PetroSearch Operating Company, L.L.C., has completed the Pintail #1, a natural gas test well in the Upper Wilcox formation on the Southwest Garwood Prospect in southeastern Colorado County, Texas. The Company’s interest in the well is a 13.33% back-in working interest after the Company’s co-venturer in the project recoups its investment in the well from production revenues.

Dan Denton, President of PetroSearch Operating Company, L.L.C. stated that “The Pintail #1 was drilled to a depth of 10,500 feet and perforated at intervals between 9,632 and 9,738 feet with an absolute open flow rate of approximately 750 mcf of natural gas per day. The well has been connected to the sales line and it is now producing approximately 500 mcf per day of natural gas and about 10 barrels per day of condensate.“

“Pending further technical evaluation, we believe that this successful test indicates that the prospect has multi-well development potential,” Mr. Denton added.

Plans are currently underway to begin an offset test well, a 16,500 foot test of the Upper and Lower Wilcox sands, in this prospect by early 2005.
